Usage tips:

With this particular honey you can indulge yourself in the kitchen. It can be tasted pure, simply spread on a slice of bread; can be used in pastry, for cakes, muffins, pancakes. It is used in savory recipes, on meat, in sauces, on risotto. Excellent with fresh cheeses and ricotta, perhaps accompanied by a good wine.

It is the flagship of our company.

It is produced in the Migliarino San Rossore Natural Park, in the province of Pisa.

Our bees are found in the splendid setting of the pine forest in the park and from there they quickly reach the sea and the sand dunes full of very fragrant plants of the Mediterranean maquis such as cistus, santolina of the beaches, cornflower of the sands, but above all the helichrysum ( also called camuciolo). Its name comes from the Greek words helios (sun) and chrysos (gold).

It has a light amber colour, the smell and taste recall that of the essential oils of the plants it contains and which recall the wild beaches of the Mediterranean coast.

We like to say that it "tastes like summer". It is harvested in May and June.
